I love Kathleen Brooks and the quirky folks in Keeneston, Kentucky! Another impressive addition to the Bluegrass series!
Forever Devoted is a wonderful romantic suspense tale! The suspense is a brilliantly complex thriller with pulse pounding danger, betrayal and anxiety inducing threats! Layne and Walker endure several harrowing moments at the hands of desperate killers and of course the Davies family scrutiny! Both are about equally deadly! While trying to avoid Layne's overprotective family and the famous Keeneston gossip mill, Layne and Walker manage to find their forever love! The grandparents, parents, aunts and uncles, cousins and grandchildren ( to many to remember) are joined by the long lost Faulkeners and the family tree becomes beyond cumbersome. Fortunately Kathleen has an addendum with the family tree as the reader tries to sort who's who! If you've read most of the series you will be familiar with most of them, as well as, the Keeneston characters! The bottom line.... this title is a great read! It has happy and sad emotional moments, laugh out load banter and cringe worth suspense! I truly recommend all the series and branch off books too! These book are why we read romantic suspense! Add Kathleen Brooks to your read list! (The Lies series is also amazing)!

Loved it. I have enjoed everyone of the series books. You become part of their town and life. I do have a problem with the editing errors though. So words are wrong in the sentences, towards the end Layne introduces her dad as Lt. COLONEL. But a couple paragraphs later he is called Lt Commander. If the author is going to mix the military branches she needs to keep the ranks straight. I cant give. 5 star only because of the editing errors. Disappointed these were not caught.

Awesome book. Layne is getting some much needed R&R at a conference in South Carolina..while there a physician asks for a consult for someone with a secret and she jumps on board to help. Walker needs to get in 100% shape to exact revenge on the teammember who betrayed him and his teammates. In order to do that, he needs some PT to get him in fighting shape..while he’s fighting for revenge, he’s attracted to the pretty PT who’s life is now in danger. When he needs to lie low for a while, he decided to take her up on her offer to go home with her. Hell soon learn that not only can Layne take her of herself, she can take care of him too..with the help of a town full of bad asses. Loved Layne and Walker together..even though she is a Physical Therapist..she is her own badass thanks to her dad, Miles. Walker, as a service man..can kick ass and give out sarcasm with the best of them. We got to catch up with the gang in Keeneston, but m6 favorite part is anything and everything Aniyah. She is hysterical and worth the midnight Maugham in bed. There were some nice surprises, hysterical laughs, and touching moments. In addition, I thoroughly enjoyed meeting the long lost family members and eagerly await their stories. Kathleen has done it again with an awesome read that leaves you trying to explain to those who don’t know, exactly where Keeneston is and who lives there. Every time a new boom comes out, you feel like your going home for a visit and can’t wait to see what stories you hear now. Get the book you’ll never be disappointed.

This is Layne's story and her time to find love. I couldn't imagine the man that would stand up to her Dad, Miles Davies, but DEVGRU, Walker Greene, does just that. He is handsome, hot, smart and very cool. He's been betrayed and left for dead. He is wounded but he is arrives undercover to Layne Davies for healing. When he sees beautiful, hot and smart Layne, right from the start you can tell they were meant for each other. They are both tough, loving and protective of one another. As usual, we also have the wonderful humor from the Keeneston characters we've come to love so much. Between laying on the floor laughing, you may also need to read carefully and even twice to find the cues showing us who might be the next love birds or the ever missing panty droppers! We're also introduced to another branch of the family from Shadow Landings....do you feel another series coming. The suspense is ever present and the bad boys don't stand a chance against Keeneston! I am so excited to see the next Bluegrass story "Forever Hunted". These stories are so nicely written with humor, romance and suspense. So very enjoyable.

Kathleen has delivered again on her Forever Bluegrass Series. Forever Devoted may be her best yet in the series of the offspring. Layne Davies and Walker Greene are the ultimate couple with truly a lot in common. He falls for her bad assery and can’t believe his perfect woman truly exists. She falls for him because he doesn’t cow down to her Father and does respect her father and understands. There’s enough excitement with proving Walker was the wounded true hero on the mission that saw his teammates get killed at the hands of the supposed leader and to get him taken down. You’ve got the residence of Keenston helping like they do. There is no other place like Keenston. You will enjoy getting to know Marcy Faulkner Davies long lost family, a beautiful wedding and lost family finding each other once again. This book is an awesome amazing read you can’t go wrong with Kathleen Brooks just enjoy and go on the ride with her imagination.
Forever Devoted
This was an amazing addition to the Forever Bluegrass series with the Davis family and all of Keeneston helping to clear the name of a former SEAL now a member of the elite group DEVGRU, Walker Greene who survived a massacre of their men by one of their own Jed Melville. He falls in love with Layne after his friend Gavin, who happens to be her cousin, introduces them when he is suffering injuries from being shot by Jed then having to swim for his life to reach his friend who is a doctor. Layne is a doctor who specializes in rehabbing soldiers and takes him on and hides him because Jed wants him dead so that he does not tell the truth about what really happened at the Nigerian Waters op. It is fantastic how the story unfolds with the whole town and the Davis brother's accept Walker and take down the bad guys overcoming several serious situations. It is amazing how these two, Layne and Walker fall in love with her even saving his life at one point. He loves how she is so tough and capable to fight by his side because her father, Miles taught her so well. They get their happily ever after and the betting pools go wild with Reagan the next cousin to find love with Carter in the next release. I highly recommend this exciting action packed romantic book and am looking forward to the next book in this series
Layne is awesome in mind and body
Wow! Layne is awesome in mind and body. She is a no nonsense woman that can "kill you with her pinky"! Green is just sex on a stick! He is a SEAL, so you know he's tough. But he is protective, loving, charitable, and a perfect match for Layne. His toughness lets him fit right in with the Davies men. Walker is injured when the two first meet with danger not far behind. That doesn't deter Layne nor any of the folks of Keeneston. Walker wants to protect Layne but realizes she belongs right by his side in the fight. Another great Bluegrass story from Kathleen Brooks! I can wait for the next one....Forever Hunted!
As usual it doesnt disappoint !
Knocked it out of the park yet again! I was hooked the moment I discovered the very first BLUEGRASS book. With each and every book there after in fell more and more in live with this motley cast of characters. They all now feel like family to me... I look forward to seeing what antics occur in every new story. Especially what's up with the infamous Rose sisters hehehe. You can read this book without having read all the others, HOWEVER in highly suggest waiting to read the others first. That way you gain a rich backstory to all these brilliant characters. Tons of suspense, and amazingly strong women who fight side by side with their alpha men fill these pages. Lost family found and old pain healed. I cannot wait to see which relative falls in love next... And also to see what type of trouble heads their way. I never tire of the stories in Keeneston... And with finding new relatives maybe a new town to see what trouble and love hides? Here's to the future!
Loved this book
Loved this book. Kathleen Brooks is really a good author. I always look forward to getting her books as soon as they come out. The continuing stories of the characters from Keenston Kentucky is great. I also have this in audio and love it also, in fact even better than the book. The absolute best part of her books at least for me. Is she doesn't go into long drawn out sex scenes. These kids of the original character's are most entertaining. Specially when the girls do some major rump kicking. This particular book is Miles and Morgan's daughter Lain and Walker who ends up being a friend of her Cousin that lives in Charleston. And gets her to help with getting Walker back on his feet. Of course they run back to Keenston Where all of the protection that anyone could ask for is. The antics in this book like most of her books had me laughing out loud. Can't wait for the next book to come out. .
Everything you would want in a book
There is nothing that I like the least about this book except maybe I wished it would go on with more chapters. I love this author because she has the town of with the most amazing characters. You will always laugh if she takes her stories to this little town who will protect the innocence. I love the Rose sisters, the other families from the other stories from the beginning. This story is just a continuation from the first book about the people in this town in Kentucky. I would highly recommend this author , Kathleen Brooks if you like romance, laughter, suspence, over protected fathers with their daughters, military involvement, government, just exactly what a book should be about. Enjoy.
